Contributions to Society

• In 2007 July 18, Doerte Food donated 185 tonnes of Ready to Eat Meals to the Chinese Red Cross for victims of flood in Sichuan. These were sent via airfreight from Dalian to Sichuan as urgent assistance to the local people
• In 2008 August 30, a deadly earthquake rocked Sichuan and killed at least 250,000 people. Millions were displaced without food and shelter. Doerte Food supplied over 400,000 meals to the victims
